K-Hole Peep Show
Welp, I ran out of Peep Shows on Netflix last week and got sad. Today I learned that Superhans's name is actually Superhans when I thought it was Superhands.
Superhands is a WAY cooler name.

False Idols III
Admittedly I almost miss it...
Piggy Hunt
I need to stop using orange it never works.
I'm glad I have a piece with a piggy in it though, I do like piggies and the lady is just so mad (…but the likelihood she’ll have piggy for dinner is pretty high)

Afternoon of the Faun Pt 2
So this is an illustration of a scene from Afternoon of the Faun (1910 Russian Ballet, sort of “modernism” for the ballet world). This scene, in short, is the title faun character watching on a rock as the nymphs he tried to seduce disappear from his view. At the end of the ballet, the faun basically ballet-style humps a rock and it was OH SO CONTROVERSIAL at the time. I tried to make him look rock humpy too, but I’m not sure it came across as well as I’d hoped.
I do like all of my lines though, that background took FOREVER and I had to do ALL the research on back muscles (just to bend the rules anyway). I liked having a piece with a background though, it was a nice change.

Crested Geckos
Upon visit to a little liquor store we're not usually around to visit, my boyfriend and I met a gentleman behind bulletproof glass who recently bought an iguana. Her name was Iggy (the lizard, not the man) and although I was disappointed in the lack of creativity in her name, he put her through the swively glass door and we got to pet/play with her. Well, Jason of course being allergic to fluffy animals was pleased as punch that a pet existed that didn't hold the danger of allergies and was determined to get a lizard.
With a little research, we learned crested geckos are THE BEST geckos and bought a little baby one at a local reptile show. We named him Marvin. They have no eyelids so they lick their eyeballs.
Marvin looks most like the one on the bottom.

Goat Imps
FINALLY done with this painting. As simple as it is in terms of colors, the damn thing took so long to get all the whites and blacks JUST SO
Ok so just some weird conjoined goat imps, chillin', I wanted to semi-replicate a printmaking look and I think I did ok, it's not perfect. It's pretty cool in real life though, it's about 12" x 24"
The left one clearly isn't having the right one's shit. I named them Flotsam and Jetsam because Jason asked what their names were. It was a few nanoseconds from being Batman and Robin so I think I made the right decision.
Stack of Dogs
So green dog monster yeah the end
Benny
OK TOO MUCH TEXT more later when I draw more of the designs and get some story fleshed out.

Ponies and Monsters
Decided work was for CHUMPS today and used some 3 inch crayola colored pencils that were given to me in a crumpled Walgreens bag to draw this pony zebra. The crayolas are only in weird colors like I have 2 teals and a green metallic and various colors of opaque orange but I don’t have any red, so I decided to draw an interpretation of a My Little Pony I had as a child since she’s weird colors too. It was the only one I had and eventually I mohawked her mane (which was apparently pink and not green, I looked it up after I drew it oops - here's the toy I had)
Guess she’s gotten a bit on in years but she’s still alright in my book. She made a good mount for my street sharks and extreme dinosaurs. On the ride home to the little tykes dollhouse. Through the streets lined with Jengas and paved with the occasional curled-up dead centipede.

And a monster because I got bored.
